Maybe the plane was an older one... there was less room than I remember. Certainly less room that Qatar or Emirates. But food was ok. I have flown Turkish Air a few times before and thought I liked the flights better. So maybe it was just me.

Dalaman is situated on the south-western coast of Turkey and visiting it provides easy access to several of the country’s top scenic attractions. Primarily viewed as a gateway to neighbouring seaside resorts such as Fethiye, the town itself is increasingly earning a reputation as a worthy vacation spot.
Idyllically situated between snow-tipped mountains and turquoise waters, Dalaman embodies all the mythical intrigue of the Aegean Coast. The wider region encompasses thousands of years of history and is peppered with awe-inspiring artifacts, ranging from Lycian rock tombs to Roman baths and Ottoman forts.
Some of the most striking ruins can be seen in nearby Fethiye – built on top of the ancient city of Telmessos – while visitors to Olu Deniz can enjoy the best of Turkey’s pristine white beaches. The port city of Marmaris – renowned for its vibrant nightlife and world-famous yacht marina – is also a popular stop-over for travelers.
With an average 320 days of sunshine per year, there is hardly ever a bad time to visit Dalaman. Its Mediterranean climate and temperatures reaching 95 degrees in July and August, make Dalaman a perfect destination for sun-seekers. The winter months of December to February offer mild weather, occasional rainfall and temperatures around 63 degrees F.
