There’s London by day, and then there’s London by night.

The Shard may still be in its honeymoon phase, but London’s other coveted view – from the London Eye – is still spectacular and unique in the fact that it’s constantly – and almost imperceptibly – evolving throughout the 30-minute ride.

An evening ticket (the Eye typically runs until at least 8:00 p.m.) will give you a chance to see London’s lights from all angles, and take in what is arguably the best view of Big Ben.

A standard adult ticket starts at about $27 with online advance purchase. Children younger than four years old ride free.
