Add San Antonio International (SAT) to the growing list of airports sporting free Wi-Fi. The service at the Alamo City airport used to cost $6.95; now travelers on San Antonio flights can connect free of charge.

San Antonio officials say approximately half the flyers using the airport are business travelers. While they’ve got to stay productive out on the road, “Others, simply looking to pass the time, would like to access the Internet but may not want to pay a fee,” says a prepared release.

Logging on is easy: Just look for the “SAIA WI-FI” icon when you power up, then, launch your browser.

The coverage area includes all public areas in both Terminals One and Two.
