Croatia has been topping many a travel bucket list lately, thanks in part to its starring role in HBO’s “Game of Thrones,” but this European country is much more than the real-life Westeros. Filled with scenic landscapes, historic ruins and Old World charm, Croatia has the capacity to entice any traveler.
And it’s easy to see how this beautiful gem was picked as the backdrop for the TV adaptation of George R.R. Martin’s hit series. With views like these, it’s no wonder the seven kings are fighting to control these stunning lands.
