The Associated Press is reporting that the Obama administration will lift some Cuba travel restrictions to allow Americans to visit relatives in Cuba and send money back to their families.

Senior officials speaking on condition of anonymity said President Barack Obama plans to announce the policy change before the Summit of the Americas, which will be held the week of April 17 in Trinidad and Tobago. The report says that Obama doesn’t intend to lift the trade embargo against Cuba.
