Executives at Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) Airport are considering rebuilding parking structures around the airport next year, it has emerged.

Jeff Fegan, DFW President, told The Star Telegram that the discussions would likely take place in January or February as part of an update of the airport’s master plan.

He explained that he wanted the parking area to be more “compressed”, meaning that the passenger and employee parking would be combined closer to the terminals.

However, the newspaper added that there had been no discussion on how such a redesign would affect parking prices or availability of discount lots.
