We live in an age of angst. Earlier today, Reuters reported that officials shut down a portion of Detroit Metro Airport (DWT) after a suspicious package was found. The affected portion was in the McNamara Terminal, a prime hub for Northwest Airlines.

People were evacuated from around the perimeter of the area according to reports.

Now, it appears the crisis has passed, and the package has passed inspection. Airport spokesman Mike Conway tells Cheapflights that the McNamara Terminal is open, up, and running.

There appears to have been minimal impact upon schedules into or out of DTW.
