There’s a new overnight option for travelers on Indianapolis flights: the Indianapolis airport just welcomed the opening of a 272-room Crowne Plaza hotel.
The property used to be a Holiday Inn Select but after a $10.5 million makeover, the Crowne Plaza name was in place. Among the Crowne Plaza’s amenities: free shuttle service to Indianapolis International’s new terminal, high-speed wireless Internet access, an on-site fitness center, heated indoor pool replete with hot tub and sauna, and a business center.

In a prepared release, the hotelier says staff is trained “how to create and maintain a restful environment.” There’s new bedding, guaranteed wake-up calls, designated quiet zones, night lights, drape clips, sleep CDs, sleep tips, eye masks, ear plugs and lavender spray.
