Need a few cheap tricks for your next vacation? Just because you’re on vacation doesn’t mean you have to break the bank. There are plenty of free activities in just about any city, so grab your cheap flight and start your vacation with a few extra dollars in your pocket.

Los Angeles: The City of Angels is full of free options, so book your cheap Los Angeles flight and take in a tour of the angels at their best. Start
on Hollywood Boulevard and take a walk down the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The stars of movies, film and music are memorialized here – share your
favorite memories, your best quotes and your favorite songs as you walk
down the angel-lined streets. Want something a little more fashionable?
You don’t have to live like royalty to appreciate it in Los Angeles.
Head over to Rodeo Drive and window shop along one of the nation’s most
premier streets. It doesn’t cost a thing to imagine you’re wearing
Gucci, Chanel or Dolce&Gabbana.

New York: There’s nothing more peaceful – or cheaper – than a
stroll through Central Park. Any time of the year, Central Park offers
wondrous sights for all its guests. Sit under a tree, cop-a-squat near
the paddle boats, or people-watch along a park bench. If you need a bit
more stimulation, take a tour of the gold vault at the Federal Reserve
Bank of New York or walk through the New York Stock Exchange. Both
organizations require advance reservations, but it’s worth the advance
planning to take part in some of these free New York attractions.

London: Relive history every day in London while watching the
Changing the Guard. The British pomp and ceremony is free and takes
place outside Buckingham Palace. The guards are dressed in traditional
red tunics and bearskin hats, and the ceremony is set to music. Other free London attractions
include the British Museum, the Museum of Mankind, Sir John Soane’s
Museum, and the Museum of Garden History. The main art galleries – the
National Gallery, National Portrait Gallery, Tate Gallery, Wallace
Collection are all free.

Las Vegas: The Las Vegas hotels are made for the mighty and imaginative. If you can’t travel around the world, travel to Las Vegas and tour the hotels. The New York-New York Hotel & Casino is a replica of the city, complete with the Statue of Liberty. Grab a hot dog and hop on the Coney Island roller coaster for a NYC ride at a fraction of the cost. Take on the Eiffel Tower at the Paris Las Vegas or stare at the stars under The Venetian’s grand dome. Unleash your inner-pirate inside Treasure Island or take a romantic walk near the Bellagio water fountains. The free options are endless in Las Vegas – just use your imagination and the entire world is your oyster.

Orlando: The biggest attraction in this central Florida city is undoubtedly Walt Disney World, but if you need a break from the mouse take a time-out to tour some of these free Orlando attractions. Lake Eola Park is located in Downtown Orlando and provides paddleboat rentals, dining, gondola cruises. The Harry P. Leu Gardens offers the largest Camellia collection outside of California’s.

Chicago: Walk the Magnificent Mile, tour the Lincoln Park Zoo, or sit by the famous Buckingham Fountain to take in all Chicago has to offer. Take a walk through Navy Pier – Chicago’s playground packed full of carousels, street performers and side shops. The Lincoln Park Zoo is one of the country’s oldest zoo parks and free admission every day of the year. During the summer, Chicago hosts a myriad of free outdoor events, including the Chicago Jazz Festival and the Taste of Chicago.
