St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner, and if you’re looking for the best places to enjoy parades, corned beef and pitchers of green beer right here in the States, we have you covered.

Check out these top spots for St. Patrick’s Day celebrations around the country – and don’t forget to don your green!

Boston

Beantown is undeniably Irish, and the list of St. Patrick’s Day festivities is endless. Check out the traditional dancing, feast on corned beef and cabbage and drink plenty of Guinness at the Irish Cultural Centre in Canton, or catch the incredible parade as it rolls through South Boston on Sunday, March 16. Bar crawls abound all weekend long, and you can even catch Irish rockers Dropkick Murphys at the Boston House of Blues on Sunday.

Chicago

Beer isn’t the only liquid that goes green in honor of St. Patrick’s Day in Chicago – the entire Chicago River is also dyed green in honor of Ireland’s patron saint. You can watch the river change colors before your eyes on the morning of March 15, then head to Grant Park to catch one of the country’s largest St. Paddy’s parades. Irish pubs throughout the city will be celebrating with green beer and live music, or you can opt for a more family-friendly St. Patrick’s Day cruise on Lake Michigan or the Chicago River.

Savannah, Georgia

This southern city kicks off its four-day St. Patrick’s Celebration Friday, March 14, transforming River Street into the host for one of Savannah’s largest parties of the year. A weekend of non-stop music, food, games and beer lead up to the grand parade, held Monday morning.

San Francisco

Expect some impressive festivities in San Francisco, where St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated city-wide with parades, parties and performances. Even City Hall gets in on the fun as green lights illuminate the building throughout the holiday. Saturday’s parade features more than 100 floats, bands and dance groups, and afterward, you can grab some food truck-style Irish grub at the Shamrock St. Patrick’s Weekend Bash.
