AirTran Airways has announced a new sale in honor of the upcoming birthday of Georgia-born broadcaster Larry Munson.
The carrier has discounted all flights from Atlanta to 43 destinations to $86 one-way (excluding taxes and fees) for purchase through September 27.
Munson announced his retirement earlier this week after spending 43 seasons calling football in Georgia.
Among the 43 destinations included in the sale are Chicago (Midway), Houston (Hobby Airport), New York (LaGuardia), Tampa, Kansas City and Dallas (Dallas/Fort Worth Airport).
All tickets require a ten-day advance purchase and will be valid on all days except Sundays. A round-trip is not required and travel is valid until November 19.
