Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI) is the DC Beltway’s leading low-fare airport, a place populated by the likes of discount airlines Southwest and AirTran. Now you can get discount parking at the airport too – but only for a limited time.

Go to www.bwiexpressserviceparking.com and download a printable version of a $9 per day, Express for Less Parking coupon. On exiting the lot, present the coupon. This deal’s available through October 31.

Park in the Express Parking Lot. From there, you can hop a car-side to curb-side “instant shuttle,” and the driver will even help you with your luggage.

That shuttle runs to the BWI terminal 24/7. The Express Parking Lot itself is well-lit, and monitored. Got a flat or need a jump-start? Folks will help you with that too.

One unrelated note about Baltimore/Washington you might want to keep in mind. The elevators at the BWI Rail Station are closed for repair September 17 through November 16. That means you’re going to have to climb a long set of stairs, and then descend another long set, in order to get from one platform to another. During this time, the station will not be accessible to southbound passengers in wheelchairs, or those who are mobility-impaired. One option: consider using the WMATA Express Bus from BWI to the Greenbelt Metrorail Station.
