Flyers have made one million trips using the Clear fast pass security lanes at airports around the country.
The one millionth trip came at 7:16am (Eastern Time) on Friday, May 2. Passengers using a Clear kiosk anywhere in the country at that time were congratulated. Members of the Clear program will receive gifts including eye masks and cereal boxes to mark the milestone.
Steven Brill, Chief Executive of Clear, said: “The fast growth of Clear in airports, both big and small, is a testament to the experience that frequent flyers demand today.
“Whether it is spending more time with their kids or making a business trip more efficient, the Clear card offers our members a sense of predictability and comfort; they now know that they will move through airport security with greater speed and less hassle.”
Brill expects Clear to mark its second million before the end of this year.
