They may be fashionable, but when it comes to travel, those rubber clogs of various colors can be dangerous. Officials at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport issued a warning to travelers trekking through the airport: Be careful of your Crocs and flip-flops.

Crocs, a wardrobe staple among children and young teens, can cause “shoe entrapment” on escalators.

An airport spokesman says at least three children have been injured in the last two months after their flip-flops or Croc shoes got stuck in airport escalators. Airport officials released a 35-second public service announcement that airs every five minutes at the airport.
