If you’re planning travel to Jackson Hole, get out your flight confirmations and double check these dates: the Jackson Hole Airport will close for about four days starting Memorial Day, May 25.

The airport will close to perform work on the runway, thanks to a $5 million grant from the Federal Aviation Administration. Airport officials claim the Jackson Hole Airport will reopen by June 2.

Those travelers hoping for a Memorial Day getaway to Jackson Hole should consider flights to Salt Lake City or Idaho Falls.

If you’re currently on a flight to Jackson Hole during the renovation time, call the airline and asked to be re-routed to one of the nearby airports.
