Best Time to Fly to Shenzhen, China

The city truly is an any time destination, and its many great attractions and a calendar of events throughout the year ensures that it is always busy.  Many visitors prefer to visit from October to March which is the dry season, and though temperatures are mild at most times of year, it can be humid from May to September. 

Local events such as Chinese New Year in January see an influx of visitors to the city, and a rise in the cost of flights and accommodations.  The cheapest time to visit is from June to August, but cheap flights can often be found at any time.

Getting around Shenzhen, China

Getting around the city by Metro is fast and easy and the system runs throughout the day to all parts of Shenzhen.  There are also local bus services and ferries to and from Hong Kong.  The city taxi services have a meter system and fares are well regulated and reasonable.  There is a fuel surcharge but it is small, and in general the service is very good.
