Chicago O’Hare is the busiest of the two major airports you’ll be flying into. It’s in the northwest part of the city. It’s 14 miles from the Loop district. Midway is closer to the Loop. It’s only about eight miles from that area. Midway used to be the main airport for Chicago until O’Hare took that over. Now Midway serves as a hub for many of the low-cost carriers, like Southwest.
