Cheap Car Rentals in Airport North, Orlando

The only full-size cars they had available were 4 door pickup trucks. This is not a full-size car where we come from - they gave us a mid-size SUV for no extra charge.

Pick up and drop off were very prompt and efficient

I was given a BMW car but was told that I was getting an SUV. The car was extremely wrong for me. I never could figure out most of the instruments

Excellent experience. Shortly after picking up the car, the tire pressure light came on. Recommend for Sixt to check the tire pressure before handing the car over. As well, there were no visible gas stations close to Tampa airport coming from Clearwater. I didn't know that I should have filled up the gas tank in Clearwater before hitting the 10 mile causeway. Recommend for rental car staff to advise customer to fill up the car before the causeway, in order to avoid the charge for not filling up the gas tank. However, overall, the rental was excellent. Nice BMW. The Sixt staff were excellent. Very efficient pick-up and drop off. The Sixt counter was not busy at Tampa airport when picking up the car, compared to the other rental car company counters.

Didn’t pick up phone when arrived at airport. Called multiple times. Would never rent with them again.

The staff told me that the rental car can not drive out of State of Florida, and it didn’t state on the internet. So ACE didn’t let me get the rental car. That was a miserable experience to me.

The rental listing was a bait and switch and the counter employees didn’t have a strong grasp of policies or options. They pushed hard for me to upgrade from the managers choice which was apparently electric to a gas car. I was fine with electric but they warned me that it had to be brought they back at 95% charged or I would receive a fee, and that charging would take many hours. Not sure that is actually the case as several things they said were inconsistent. In the end, I was pressured into the upsell, which is never a good feeling. High pressure sales stink.

Hour wait to pick up the car. So many hidden charges and fees, the bill was twice what I thought it was going to be

My flight was being constantly delayed by JetBlue.. So I was able to get a flight to West Palm Beach.. I went to call the company that Kayak gave me for a rental (RentalCars.com) and they kept saying that there were no cars available in West Palm Beach (PBI).. Yet I was able to get a car through another company very quickly.. I had my wife, a 5 year old with Autism, an 18 month old, and a mom with a disability.. They refused to help me refund my money after I told him I got the rental within minutes after he was "searching"

2.5 hrs to get car! No windshield wiper fluid in car. Never again with Thrifty/Dollar!

The car was fine, but the wait in Orlando was a nightmare, I’ll never rent a car from Thrifty again!

Car was never serviced, return agent said well past due. Car was filthy and agent pulled bate and switch siting vehicle booked is not carried by thrifty , when we went outside sitting right there for rental

Raised the prices at the counter saying the reservation is expired. Unfriendly staff and cheating at the counter after landing. Unfair practices and poor customer service. Not recommending to anyone else.

Hi there , the whole thing was a scam, be aware , the price quoted was 150 dollars and the final price was 559 dollars , so it’s not even close to what was quoted by you guys , I will NEVER use this service again, so I was driven to Wally car park and was told the price was completely off , it’s ridiculous , you should at least get a decent estimate , not a third of the final price.

Long and slow moving line at the counter caused me to cancel my rental.

When I reserved a full size car, I was under the impression that I had reserved a Toyota. When I picked up my car, I had a selection or full size cars, but no Toyota options.

First and foremost, when someone books a convertable, thats what i expect. That person handeling check in at the jetblue terminal in orlando on saturday morning should be sent back for retraining. After showing my reservation with the convertable, he goes back and forth with me, telling me that in the “system” its a different category of car. I then went to show him the reservation again and he says thats not an avis reservation number. He says i should call the number on the reservation… so i did. And. IT WAS AVIS IN ORLANDO!!!! At this point im beyond furious going back and forth, that i said, in general, I DONT HAVE TIME FOR THIS, GIVE ME WHATEVER YOU HAVE SO I CAN GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE! Instead of resolving the issue, this individual wants to act like my ex girlfriend and tell me to calm down in a passive tone!! And then he says youre not allowed to be nasty here!! OOH IM SORRY, I DIDNT KNOW I LANDED IN FN PLEASANTVILLE!! AND I SAID THAT IN GENERAL NOT TO YOU!! This went on for 5-7 mins with people and kids online. Instead of focusing on a resolution, this chump wanted to argue with me, since he had no idea how to resolve the issue!! i paid for a convertable and got a dirty sports car. Inside and out. Cant wait for my next experience!
